Snipe It Now

Use Snipe It Now to set snipes right from eBay!

Drag and drop this link > Snipe It Now! < into your toolbar.

Once you have the toolbar link:

  1. Go to eBay and find an item you want to snipe.
  2. Click the Snipe It Now toolbar link, fill in your bid and Snipe It Now!

The Snipe It Now window grabs the item number and item information for you; all you have to do is fill in your snipe preferences and set your snipe right there.

If you are using IE or the drag and drop doesn't work, use the instructions below.

Manual Instructions

Internet Explorer (IE) 7 & 8

  1. Make sure that your Favorites Bar is visible. If you don't see it click View → Toolbars → Favorites Bar.
  2. Right click on this Snipe It Now! link.
  3. Select "Add to Favorites..." from the menu that appears after you right click. Tip: If a "Security Alert" window pops up click yes and proceed.
  4. Once the "Add Favorites" dialog box appears, select the "Favorites Bar" folder from the list and click OK.

Firefox

  1. Make sure that your Bookmarks Toolbar is visible. If you don't see it click View → Toolbars → Bookmarks Toolbar.
  2. Go to Bookmarks → Organize Bookmarks → right-click on the Bookmarks Toolbar option in the left column and click "Add new".
  3. In the window, call the bookmark Snipe It Now.
  4. Highlight (Ctrl+A), copy (Ctrl+C), and paste (Ctrl+V) the code shown in the box below into the Location field and click Add.

Chrome

  1. Make sure that your Bookmarks bar is visible. If you don't see it click the wrench icon → Tools → Always show Bookmarks bar.
  2. Click the wrench icon → Bookmarks Manager → right-click on the Bookmarks bar option in the left column and click "Add new page".
  3. Your new links shows up at the bottom of the list and has a blank page icon next to it. Right-click on that line and click "Edit".
  4. In the first field, call the new bookmark Snipe It Now.
  5. For the next field, Highlight (Ctrl+A), copy (Ctrl+C), and paste (Ctrl+V) the code shown in the box. Chrome auto-saves your changes.
