Search & locate your item number on eBay

  • Search eBay for the item you would like to snipe.
  • Locate the item number (circled).
  • Write the number down or just copy it by highlighting it and then clicking Edit->Copy (Ctrl+C)

Add Your Snipe

  • Note: If you are not already logged in please do so at this point in the process
  • Enter the item number, if you have copied it, you can paste it in the "Item #" field by clicking Edit->Paste (Ctrl+V).
  • Enter your maximum bid. (i.e. the maximum amount that you are willing to pay for this item)
  • Enter your lead time. The lead time is the amount of seconds before the item end time that you want your bid to be placed. We recommend a lead time of 5 seconds.
  • Click on "Add!" to add your snipe and sit back and relax! AuctionSniper will place your bid for you! Your computer doesn't even have to be on when the auction ends.

Snipe It Now!

  • Note: If you are not already logged in the dialog will allow you to do so at this time.
  • Add the following bookmarklet to your bookmarks bar Snipe It Now! .
  • Next time you're on eBay looking at an item you want to Snipe, instead of copying and pasting simply click on the bookmarklet and voila a window will appear with fields pre-filled with your item's information
  • Enter your maximum bid. (i.e. the maximum amount that you are willing to pay for this item)
  • Enter your lead time. The lead time is the amount of seconds before the item end time that you want your bid to be place. We recommend a lead time of 5 seconds.
  • Click on "Snipe It!" to add your snipe and you are all set. No more cutting and pasting and going to another page just to add a snipe.
